Lounge Room

As I carried on the fun and flare of the kitchen in to the lounge room I also wanted to make sure that a sense of calm was achieved, as the last thing the clients wanted was to feel anxious whilst watching a movie or chatting with friends. To aid this I opted to put the pops of colour in big art work which adds interest along with little accents in the floor and scatter cushions. White was also used in this room in the form of the coffee table to anchor all the elements of the space. I decided on the cloud coffee table to add whimsy, and it’s also multifunctional. The coffee table can come together to form a multi-dimensional table then separated for individual side tables, very useful with a young family. The taupe lounge, faux fur throw and plants all balance the room by toning the intensity of the stark white and bright colours. The large windows and draping chiffon curtains offset the large prints.
